Nutrition at Crowie’s Triathlon Training Camp
Craig Alexander invites Selasi Berdie, an exercise scientist to talk to the athletes at his triathlon training camp about nutrition for triathletes and training. Some of the areas that are explored in the talk include the differences in nutritional needs for triathletes as opposed to footballers or body builders, the often times stigmatised term, supplement, as well as the importance of protein for any triathlete and endurance trainer. Along the way Berdie also dispels some myths relating to nutrition, dietary requirements and the use of supplements for any athlete who is serious about their training and performance.
